I cry whenever this scene comes up I cry a little because Homura had this type of thinking in the very beginning. Things like “I’m Useless”, “No one would miss me”, “I can’t do anything right”. She thought herself so insignificant that she was caught off guard by a witch, and almost ended up taking her own life. Madoka was the only one who could make her see what a good person she was, and how many people would miss her.

Now it’s just done a complete 180, and suffering.
